Barcelona are now ahead of Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign ex-West Bromwich Albion wonderkid Louie Barry.
The English striker, 16, rejected a professional contract with the Baggies and officially left the club last week.
Now he seems set to join many young players in leaving the country for a better shot at making it in the game.
Barry, a prolific England youth international, netted 10 goals in five games at a tournament with his nation’s Under-15s last year, offering a glimpse of his talent.
Having been with West Brom since the age of five, he’s attracted plenty of interest from around Europe and it was believed Paris Saint-Germain were in pole position to land him.
