Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, 27, said there was “some contact” with Paris Saint-Germain this summer but the Frenchman is happy to have stayed at Stamford Bridge. (ESPN)

Former England striker Wayne Rooney, 32, believes Everton’s major shareholder Farhad Moshiri did not want to keep him at the club, leading to his move to MLS side DC United. (Mail on Sunday)
