Manchester United transfer news: Red Devils target Jadon Sancho will stay at Dortmund next season, says club’s sporting director

Jadon Sancho will remain a Borussia Dortmund player next season, according to the club’s sporting director Michael Zorc.

Sancho, 18, has been linked with a move away from the Westfalenstadion – with Manchester United reportedly weighing up an £80million bid for him.

Sancho has thrived in Germany and is set to stay next season

The teenager has been in tremendous form for Dortmund this season – netting eight goals and adding ten assists in 25 league matches.

He also earned his first call-up to the England squad, making his debut against Croatia last October.

But Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has insisted Sancho is going nowhere this summer.

“Jadon will play for Borussia Dortmund next season and we are definitely planning with him,” Zorc told Sport Bild.

“I am far from putting a price tag on Jadon, but I maintain that his transfer would be hard to beat even for the biggest clubs in the world at the moment.”
