Liverpool summer signing Xherdan Shaqiri is just beginning to make an impact at Anfield but already Turkish giants Galatasaray are plotting a loan raid.
Shaqiri had a slow start to life on Merseyside, playing just 32 minutes of football until late September, before he started against Southampton, although he was then substituted at half-time.
However, in October his situation has improved considerably, and assists against Huddersfield Town and Red Star Belgrade, as well as a goal against Cardiff City, have increased his stock.
But despite his increase in minutes and his productive performances, Galatasaray are getting ready to swoop during the next transfer window.
Should Shaqiri be unhappy with his circumstances in just under two months, the Turkish Super Lig side will offer the 27-year-old a loan switch, according to TMW.

It’s unlikely Liverpool would sanction the deal, especially give the form of Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, who have been less productive in front of goal this term.
But the volatile Shaqiri could make life difficult for manager Jurgen Klopp if he isn’t rewarded with regular starts.
