Speculation surrounding the future of Leeds striker Kemar Roofe has been dismissed as ‘agent talk’.
The Scottish Sun claimed that Rangers were set to make a £5million offer for Roofe if they sell Alfredo Morelos this summer.
Reports had suggested that Rangers were targeting Kemar Roofe[/caption]
Morelos may leave Steven Gerrard’s side during the transfer window after scoring 30 goals in all competitions last season.
A number of clubs are said to be interested in his signature despite him being sent off five times and picking up 18 yellow cards during his time at Ibrox.
The newspaper report says the Leeds striker is at the top of their list should they decide to cash in on the Colombian forward.
talkSPORT host Jim White tweeted about the speculation on Sunday.
He said: “Source close to @LUFC puts Kemar Roofe to @RangersFC speculations down to ‘agent talk’. Yorkshire club has had no approaches for the player.”
