Paul Pogba transfer latest: Manchester United midfielder’s potential return to Juventus ruled out

Juventus have ruled out making a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, amid rumours he could leave Old Trafford.

Pogba, the France international, has once before made the move from Manchester to Turin, leaving United to join Juve in 2012.

Pogba enjoyed a trophy-laden stay in Italy

He spent four years in Italy where he developed into one of the best players in the world, before returning to the Red Devils for a then-world record £89million.

However, Pogba is now being linked with leaving United once again, amid suggestions his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho is falling apart.

Mourinho, the Portuguese, has denied there is a rift between the pair, even though he stripped Pogba of the vice-captaincy and made it clear the France star will never skipper United again.

A training ground spat between Pogba and Mourinho was well publicised after being caught on television cameras, while the midfielder has publicly flirted with Barcelona as the La Liga giants express interest in securing his services.

Juventus are also said to have been keeping tabs on Pogba, as they are reportedly keen on bringing the 25-year-old back to Serie A.

Pogba reportedly wants to leave Man United following an alleged fall-out with Jose Mourinho

However, the club’s sporting director Fabio Paratici has ruled out a move for Pogba, admitting re-signing their former star is not on the cards.

“We love him very much,” Paratici said, as quoted by Sky Sports. “We want him to do well since we are close to him but he isn’t a Juve player anymore.

“We’re connected to him, but we’ve never thought about it and we’re not going to think about it.”

Harry Kane transfer latest: Tottenham star tops Real Madrid’s shortlist as La Liga giants target new striker

Real Madrid have renewed their interest in Tottenham star Harry Kane heading into the January transfer window, according to reports.

Kane has been a long-term target of Real’s, who have viewed the England forward as the latest Galactico to bring to the Bernabeu.

Kane has scored six times this season

And Florentino Perez, the Real president, has given orders for club officials to find two players that can improve Julen Lopetegui’s squad in January, following Los Blancos’ poor start to the season.

Real have won just four of their eight league matches so far to sit fourth in La Liga, while they also suffered a shock defeat in their second Champions League group stage match to increase doubts they may struggle to progress to the knockout rounds.

Real appear to be struggling without Cristiano Ronaldo, who left for Juventus earlier this year, and Perez wants to bring in a pair of players to replace the Portuguese’s influence.

And, according to El Confidencial, Kane has been placed at the top of Real’s shortlist – with the club confident they could perhaps sign him when the transfer window reopens in January.

Madrid believe Spurs’ struggles in the Champions League – they’ve lost both their opening two matches – could open the door to a move for Kane, as Tottenham would suffer a ‘serious economic stumble’ by failing to reach the latter stages of Europe’s premier club competition.

Furthermore, due to new UEFA regulations, Kane WOULD be allowed to play for Real in European competition this season despite already playing for Spurs; playing for two clubs in the same Champions League season was previously not allowed.

Kane netted a fine goal in Barcelona’s defeat of Spurs earlier this month

RB Leipzig and Germany forward Timo Werner, 22, is named in the report as an alternate target for Real should a move for Kane prove impossible. while the Madrid club continue to hold interest in Eden Hazard, the Chelsea forward.
